Royal British Legion Collar Dogs & Shoulder Titles
In the exhibition below you will find examples of Cap Badges, Collar Dogs* and Shoulder Titles
The British Legion Memorabilia Collectors Club thanks Mrs Tracy Fowler and Mr Philip Wilson for making this exhibition of Collar Dogs and Shoulder Titles possible.
In the British Forces, collar badges are worn on the lapels and collars of formal uniforms and are often called 'collar dogs'.
In many cases (especially those collar badges with a design including animals, e.g. Lions, Tigers, Elephants, Dragons), the collar badges are made in 'facing pairs' so that the animals face forwards or towards each other.
